Pnyx AI is an intelligent semantic routing platform that automatically routes AI requests to the most cost-effective model capable of handling each task. This privacy policy explains what information we collect and how we handle it.

Alpha Status Notice

Pnyx AI is currently in private alpha. During this phase, we collect additional diagnostic data to improve the platform. All data handling described in this policy applies to alpha users.

Data Sharing

We share data only in these specific cases:

• AI Providers: Your prompts are sent to the selected AI model provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, etc.) to generate responses. These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data.
• Public Metrics: Aggregate performance data is displayed on our public leaderboard (no personally identifiable information)
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or valid legal process

We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data Retention

• Email addresses: Duration of waitlist/alpha participation plus 90 days
• API request logs: 30 days
• Performance metrics: Indefinitely (aggregated, not personally identifiable)
• Error logs: 90 days
• Skill analysis data: Retained for algorithm improvement (anonymized)

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, rate limiting, secure API authentication, and infrastructure monitoring. While we take security seriously, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. We continuously monitor and improve our security practices.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Use the API without providing personal information beyond what's required for authentication
• Request information about data we have associated with your email or API key
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your API usage data
• Opt out of non-essential data collection

International Users

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our service, you consent to this transfer and processing.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Check the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
